Production Calendar

 

To enable consumers to find our quality product, Spain, or more exactly Burguillos near Seville, has been chosen to act as our intermediary with the West Indies.

The mild spring weather, the soil of the hillsides of Seville
and the expertise of the PHILIBON team produce a melon
comparable to that of the Caribbean

EUREPGAP certification was obtained in 2003.

After an experiment in 1995 on 16 hectares with a production of 350 metric tons, we today have 150 hectares planted over two periods:

100 hectares for harvesting in May and June

50 hectares for harvesting from mid September to October with a production of 1,000 metric tons.
The Melon is graded, packaged and shipped from a station equipped and built in 2000 with the aid of local and regional elected representatives. A technician is present for monitoring the plantations in sustainable agriculture.
